Not too heavy for summer at all and can be used year round. Great for a face cream too! You'll love it! *Now add shimmer to any body butter! *please note that some fragrances may turn the body butter either a brown, light tan or light pink color. This does not change the texture or scent of your lotion, only the color.  I have decided not to add neutralizer to the lotion to keep them from turning color with fragrances containing vanilla. I found that the neutralizer changed the scent of the lotion.
